F Sharp Moving is a Richmond-based crew built around a simple idea: tell the customer the truth about the job before it starts, then do exactly what was promised. The name comes from the founders' habit of tuning every part of a move, from the first phone call to the last box, until it runs cleanly. Devon leads the crew day to day, and the people on the truck have worked together long enough to move fast without cutting corners. We started with local moves around Richmond and Vancouver and grew into commercial relocations, piano work, and freight runs across the province as customers asked for more than a one-time truck rental could give them. What has not changed is the walkthrough at the start of every job and the plain answer to any question about how the price was built.

What people ask before booking
How far in advance should I book a move in Richmond?
Give us a call two to three weeks before your target date for most local jobs. The last weekend of the month fills up fastest because so many leases turn over then, so if your date falls there, reach out sooner.
Do you move condos as well as houses?
Yes, and condos are a large share of our work. We plan around elevator bookings, loading bay rules, and building move-in windows, and we bring floor protection for the common areas.
Can you move a piano across town or out to the Island?
Both. Local piano moves use a padded skid board and a dolly built for the weight. A move that crosses to Vancouver Island is scheduled around the sailing so the piano spends the least time sitting on a dock.
What happens if it rains on moving day?
It rains a lot on the coast, so we plan for it. Runners go down on the walkway, furniture is wrapped before it goes outside, and the truck stays close so nothing sits uncovered.
Do you offer short-term storage between moves?
We can hold a load for a short gap between move-out and move-in and arrange delivery once your new place is ready, which is common when closing dates do not line up.
