Full-service packing
The packing crew usually comes the day before a house move, or the morning of for a smaller condo. They work room by room, wrapping items in packing paper, filling boxes to the top so nothing shifts in transit, and labelling every carton with its room and rough contents.
By the time the loading crew arrives, the home is boxed, stacked, and ready to carry, which is a very different pace than doing it box by box after work each night.
Materials built for the coast
We use double-walled dish barrels for glassware and dishes, wardrobe boxes so hanging clothes stay on the hanger, and picture cartons for anything framed. In a wet climate, cheap cardboard softens fast, so our boxes are rated to handle the humidity and the occasional rainy loading day.
Custom crating is available for anything unusual, from artwork to electronics that need extra protection on a longer freight run.
Partial packing and labour-only options
Plenty of families pack their own books and linens and hire us for the kitchen, the dining room, and the artwork. That keeps the cost down while putting the fragile items in trained hands, and we price it by the rooms you want covered.
If you have already rented your own truck or a portable container, we also offer labour-only loading and unloading, sending the right number of movers for the job without the truck attached.
Unpacking at the new address
Unpacking means the crew empties cartons onto counters and into closets, reassembles beds and tables, and takes the flattened cardboard away when they leave. The place looks lived in by dinner instead of two weeks later.
You decide what stays boxed for you to sort yourself, like personal papers or a home office, and we simply set those aside in the room you name.
Families starting a new job or getting kids into school the next morning tend to value the unpacking piece most, since it turns a chaotic first evening into something closer to a normal one.
